Maximum quality - for maximum safety

Glasid stands for contemporary, top-class quality. Intensive research & development ensures that we will keep the decisive edge, both today and in the future.

And we go further. To ensure that we can use our state-of-the-art equipment in the best way and offer our customers the best care possible, we have also designed our manufacturing processes to be as transparent as possible. A core feature of this is our labelling of each product with its own individual barcode.

The status of each product, along with all relevant data pertaining to it, is available at each station along its way through the process, from receipt of the order to loading onto the lorry for delivery. This status can be ascertained from the system with to-the-second precision. All data relevant to the order is stored in an electronic archiving system, from initial sketches to faxes, from specifications to all the documentation generated for the order.

We value safety - our regular quality assurance does too.

We check up on our manufacturing process at regular intervals in our own test laboratory, approved by the German State Material Testing Agency. Test are made here on optics, glass geometries, thickness and quality using our own testing methods such as pendulum impact tests, fall tests, bending-tensile tests And heat-soak tests. After all, maximum quality guarantees our customers maximum safety.
